The Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) public High School State Championships were played from last Wednesday through Saturday in Georgetown.

The results of the finals at the 4A-6A level are listed below.  Three of the six classifications contested were won by Dallas area schools.

Girls:

Class 6A:  Pflugerville Hendrickson 2  Katy Tompkins 0

Class 5A:  Highland Park 5  Aledo 3

Class 4A:  Stephenville 2  Boerne 1

Boys:

Class 6A:  Dallas Jesuit 2  Arlington Sam Houston 1 (OT)

Class 5A: Frisco Wakeland 2  Waller 0

Class 4A:  Kilgore 3  Bridgeport 2 (SO)
