This is the first of what are planned to be monthly summaries of under-the-radar soccer stories from around Texas. The focus of this series will be on players, teams and leagues that don’t receive much coverage outside of their local communities. Wrap-up of the Texas Major Arena Soccer League Season

Catching up with a quick season-end summary for the Texas-Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) indoor campaign that ended when the Baltimore Blast defeated the Monterrey Flash 4-3 in the MASL Championship game (Ron Newman Cup) at Arena Monterrey on March 25, 2018: El Paso Coyotes El Paso Coyotes dramatically improved in their second year.  After finishing the 2016/17 season without a win, they ended the 2017/18 season at 11-11 with a negative-23 goal differential. Other Key Texas Soccer stories of 2017

MASL Arena Soccer soccer season underway in Texas

Indoor soccer is back again in Texas, though it is not surprising if you did not know this.  Currently there are two leagues that have teams playing in Texas, both part of the top indoor league operating today in North America Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), a not-for-profit corporation formed through a merger of leagues in 2015 to promote the business and sport of arena soccer.
